Hello!
My name is Krishma, and I created this cookbook with one simple thing in mind... to change the way we think about food.
I grew up in a household where every leftover meal, overripe fruits, and loads of veggies were all eaten or used up in some way! My parents ran a ‘no food waste’ kitchen, so most of these recipes are common in our house! Thankfully with their influence, I created my own recipes and ideas, whilst having an overall open mind to new combinations!
I wanted to show that food can be used in so many more versatile ways than we might think. So often, we follow recipes and toss things out too quickly, without realizing how much potential is still there. This collection is meant to guide you, but also encourage you to go off script. Experiment, adjust, and truly make each recipe your own!
At its core, this little cookbook is about creativity, reducing food waste, and reconnecting with what we already have in our kitchens. You don’t need perfect ingredients to have a terrific meal!
Use these recipes as your starting point, from there shape your own creations based on your tastes, your needs, and what you have on hand!
